DRYER VENTS
Dryer vent pipes are installed in many different ways. Some are shown as above and others vent up through the roof of the home or building.
A long vent pipe that takes several turns will load with lint faster than a short straight one and will need ot be cleaned more often. It is not unsual for us to remove 3 to 5 gallons of lint (in our LINT CATCHING BAG) from a dryer vent that is 20-25 feet long.
If it's taken longer and longer to dry clothes, or the clothes aren't drying completely and there isn't a mechanical problem with the dryer, burnt out heating element etc.
